Cobblestone Ridge was an allight place to live. I have definetely lived in worse. However tomorrow I am putting in my 30 day notice (we?ll see how that goes) because we found a house for cheaper to rent (they just jacked up our rent MORE than the notice said) and a notice was just put on the door that somebody is walking around here knocking on doors and last night somebody got beat up. Not cool. Maintence can be very slow to fix anything and you have to call several times to get any response. The management has gone through several changes even in the 7 months I have lived here. The fact you have to pay 2 large utility bills is a bunch of BS in my opinion-- and as stated in another review, the bill is split evenly by 4 (your unit), which is unfair. I figure you should pay for what you use and if your neighbors are idiots when it comes to conservation, you are screwed. For an apt is ridiculous to pay well over $100/month for utilities. Parking is my other HUGE beef with this place. One assigned parking space and to find an unmarked spot-- IMBOSSIBLE. You have to park a long ways away and I don?t feel comfortable walking back to my apt at night. The carpeting is VERY cheap, within 2 months there were oil spots coming through, which makes us look crappy. Its close to Ft Carson and that?s really nice. Also I25 is just blocks away, too. Nice shopping center just a few blocks away.
