I lived in Colony Hills for a year with my girlfriend and my son. The hallways weren't brand new but they weren't unbearable neither. The apartments were clean and there was never a time I felt unsafe. The size/price ratio of these apartments are almost unbeatable in the Springs. The AC and the heat kicked like a mule and helped us save on utilities because we never had to keep them on for too long. The water pressure in the shower was outstanding, too. So, if you want a nice size, clean apartment that keeps you super cool in the summer, nice and toasty in the winter, and you like strong water pressure showers then u can't go wrong with Colony Hills. The maintenance guys are fast, on task, and cool to deal with as well. If gas prices weren't so ridiculous and my girlfriend didn't work so far north we would have signed a new lease.
