I found Cottonwood Park thru an apartment locator and decided to go ahead and move. They were offering a move in special of $99 dollars which included first month's rent. That should have been my first clue as to how cheap they really were. My husband and I moved in site unseen due to the fact that we used to live on the Kansas border. The only good thing I can say is that we were the first people to have new carpeting in years. When it snowed the first time, our carpets were soaked as the foundation in terrible. The sprinkler system is terrible and flooded the front walkway leaving us to walk through the muddy grass just to leave our home. The electric outlets actually broke down and took about a week to fix. The playground is a joke, don't go by the pictures in rent.com! The swings have been broken for the entire year that we have lived her and the see saw was taken out years ago leaving only the tires they once bounced on. The parking lot is so pitted and full of pot holes that it damaged the struts and tires of our car, and that's even going 2 miles an hour. Overall, the management is full of $#!7, maintenance is lazy, the neighbors are nosy and noisy, and your children will constantly get yelled at for playing near the trees on the grass. Not to mention the fact that unknown non-savory characters will knock on your door in the middle of the night drunk wanting a cigarette. They also gave a tenant the master key to the laundry room because they said 9am to 9pm is too long since they have a new baby that wakes up to the noise. So unless you want to wait until 20 minutes before you need those jeans, go to a laundry mat. Stay away unless you are absolutely desperate.
