I acknowledge that for the price of rent here, you get a pretty good apartment. We had plenty of square footage for the price, which I have since found to be hard to beat. The staff is quick to respond to maintenance issues, but not quick to resolve them. Our thermostat never would work properly. After three service calls, we quit asking to get it fixed. It was either freezing cold or burning up in one room, while it was completely the opposite in another. We had issues with the Comcast cable there for awhile, but apparently enough people complained that they finally got someone out to fix it.
Having the interior entrances may sound like a great idea, but it's not when you have to walk down the awful smelling hallways to get to your apartment every day! You can hear and smell everything going on in every apartment you pass along the hall. If you're not a smoker and a smoker lives across the hall from you, you better get a gas mask because it's like there's smoking in your apt too.
The parking lot has lots of problems with burglaries. The tenants apparently have no respect for other people's vehicles because it only took a week before someone had hit my car bad enough to leave a paint transfer. I can't even count the number of door dings I got there. The number of spaces is limited too, so sometimes finding a spot was difficult. Especially if you didn't want to park along the fence in the dark where all the break-ins were happening!
There is a laundry room on each floor, but it was a constant battle to get to use one. And if you do get to use one, you were sure to be verbally chastised by someone else wanting to use them!
Basically, if it's all you can afford, it's probably the best you can find. I never felt safe living there and got out as soon as I could!
