A bad place to live.

On the plus side, it's a great location, especially if you work at HP. The shopping center is right across the street, Ute Park is right there. For the money you get a lot of square footage. And the racqutball courts are cool.
However, I'm SO glad I don't live there anymore. The common areas are poorly maintained. The noise from Rockrimmon is not pleasant, and in the summer you can close the patio door and turn on your room A/C, but that's really noisy too. In the winter, more than once, wind blew the smoke into the apartment from the fireplace. That wasn't fun. Several times, the whole building needed to be evacuated because the god-awful-sounding fire alarm kept getting tripped. In fact I was woken up in the middle of the night several times in one night alone by the fire alarm.
Oh I almost forgot about the shopping carts. People steal shopping carts from Safeway, then they bring up groceries or whatever, and leave the carts strewn through the hallway! So very quaint.
The kicker, though, was that my motorcycle, while parked in the "locked" garage, was the target of an attempted theft. They gouged up the lock, and had even replaced my license plate with one of their own, but couldn't quite get the job done.
So, in short, I really didn't like it.
