One step above homelessness

...but sleeping in your car is probably a better option! Where do I begin. . . Dirty hallways, roaches roaches everywhere (maybe they import them fresh from Los Angeles, didn't know Colorado Springs had roaches)so you have to be ready in an evening's notice to remove all your kitchen food from cupboards, move dishes, etc. and then management has the gall to *charge* you for this''' I'd call that gaming the health and safety code. I suspect the owners call it staying in business.

No assigned parking. Park at your own risk, where you can find a space. (There is more than enough spaces if you don't mind walking a bit) My vehicle was dented by another tenant as they manuevered their car against my side. Sweet!

The tenants here seem to be right out of Hollywood central casting. And it's not "Happy Days" either. . . gang members, hoodlums of every stripe, drug dealers, marijuana smell permeates wherever you go. Do your best to arrive during daylight hours. Night is scary. Did I mention the sirens from the emergency vehicles on Monterey Drive - a regular route for them - and police responding all through the night (and into the day) with cruisers, choppers overhead, bright lights invading your night, and the incessant party noise' They're there. Sweet Dreams, sleepyhead!!! You'll get **so much rest** in this environment. . . NOT!!!

No one here seems to know how to use a trash can. Constant litter everywhere. Losing battle, but maintenance tries.

The office gives progressively worse service once they have you signed up as a tenant. You serve **them**, not they serve you. Get it' Staff doesn't seem to know basic arithmetic (regarding my deposit refund upon closing the lease). A losing battle. Again, they win - even in an apartment that was barely lived in and everything I owned was in boxes - and the renter loses. Yup, they will charge you for repainting the walls, etc. but I doubt they **actually** did so in my unit before the next person moved in. . .

Gee, this was a cathartic experience! You can guess that this was my worst apartment experience ever - having lived in many before the notorious El Roacho Vecino - and I energetically endorse the previous comments on this place made to date and ENCOURAGE ALL TO AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. . . MAY IT BE RAZED TO THE GROUND!
(Some cities call that urban renewal. . . what a concept! Colorado Springs City Council, are you listening''')
