There are better apartments in The Springs

I stayed at this complex for 6 months. On the positive side it's clean, safe, and close to anything you may need access to including gas stations, highways, and supermarkets. The grounds are well kept, and there are families of rabbits living on them which is pleasant. I always saw security cars driving through at night hours. It's in close proximity to Garden of the Gods as well as the upper class neighborhoods of the city. On the minus side, the office staff is extremely snobby and rude. I would suggest you get very friendly with the maintenance guy, because that is the only way you'll ever get anything fixed. The office manager has her good and bad moods, but customer service is by no means a priority. The entire neighborhood is a pit-stop for truckers, but that's not fault of the management. Personally I liked being close to I-25. Overall, if you need somewhere to "crash" for 6 months, it's not terrible, but if you have a family and may be in the Springs for a few years, the supply of rental units is way higher than the demand, so you have the advantage - look around before you give yourself a headache.
