Cheap Rent , Big Utility Bills---DONT MOVE IN HERE

I was told and made aware that GARDEN TERRACE is GARBAGE TERRACE with lots of bed bugs ....Moved in anyways and got $185/- utility bill for one month on top of $570 rent. The problem is that these guys have common metering system and the tenants already leaving are billed at multiplier of 1 (inspite of occupants being 3 to 4 per apartment!!) while the new tenants are billed at 1.6 multiplier...and this will increase your utility bills and you may end up paying upto $200 per month...Also strange thing is even if they have one occupant living in a 2bed room apartment he/she will receive less GAS bill as compared to 1bed room. All knows that the GAS consumption will be high for a two bed room area than one bed room and should not be dependent on number of occupants but the management is not ready to buy this concept as they have also rented their upper floor (their brains!!) along with the property.....Its better to spend $100 more and get a decent 2bed room apartment any where else but I wont recommend GARDEN TERRACE to any one.... Specially advice DESIS to stay away from this property..... Management is not even ready to talk on this issue and is very non-cooperative. Maintenance sucks...things brake every other day and I get service after 2-3 reminders. The indoor heated pool remains closed half the time....These guys are cheaters so dont get yourself stuck in a mud pool....

at least you are getting service requests answered. Mine are ignored completely. My conclusion... they just don't care and neither does the owner(s).

It seems that even mine are not answered now. I had 4 complains registered with the front desk at their office and waiting for some one to attend the calls since one week!!!!

Do you have to use there common utility bill process or can you choose to go straight to colo springs utilities and cut out the middle man?
