Great Management and Lovely Grounds

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
I lived at Glenpond Apartments from September of 2005 to September of 2006 while I was on Active Duty for the US Army. My one bedroom apartment was about 200 square feet larger than similarly priced apartments. Although the complex is older, it is well maintained and clean. I never saw a single insect or mouse the entire time I lived there. The grounds include a pond, pathways, and many gorgeous flowers. I often saw deer and other wildlife by the pond. Although there is no pool or fitness center, there is a laundry room on site with coin operated machines, as well as a club house on the pond.
Security was ok. The parking lot and paths are lit at night and I had both a bottom lock and deadbolt on my door. However, there were several cars broken into during the time I lived there.
The management was friendly, knew me by name, and preformed repairs promptly when asked. After I moved out, the management forgot to send me my deposit. However, when I contacted them about it, they realized their mistake, apologized, and refunded me the entire amount, including what would normally be held back for carpet cleaning.
Glenpond is about 15 minutes from Ft. Carson via the back gates. You can keep cats with a pet deposit, but no dogs.
All in all, I would recommend this place for someone on a budget that wants a clean, well maintained place to live with great staff.
