Run Away and Take Your Money with You!!!!

I am a college student in the local area and did some serious shopping for apartments before my roommate and I decided on Grand Centennial. Here are just a few of the reasons why I would never subject ANYONE to live here:
-My car was vandalized and broked into late one night. The police were called and a report was made. The complex was contacted but nothing could be done. We have security cameras in the complex, or so I was told. Apparantly, all of the cameras around the complex are only there as a "deterrent", so if anything does happen to your car, NOTHING can be done about it other than your insurance rates going sky high.
-Important packages are signed for by the office staff if you are not home at the time of delivery. They then regret to inform you that they have them and when you do find out where your belongings are, their biggest concern is how fast they can get you out the door and out of thier hair.
-The leasing office "ladies" are rude, incompetent and unprofessional. They are nice as can be, well that is until you pay your deposit and first months rent.
-For being fairly new apartments, our window blinds cracked and fell apart MANY times, the carpet is so stained that even after TWO cleanings it still looked like someone painted it black, and the paint on the walls is chipping off.
-BEWARE-If you move in on the 15th of a month, your lease "technically" does not start until the 1st of the following month. Therefore, the "12 month" lease you just signed becomes a "12 1/2 month" lease instead.
-You will have CONSTANT solicitors at your door, acting as your best friend, trying to get you to buy anything from magazines to cruises in the Bahamas! ANNOYING
To sum up this ranting, it's in your best interest to stay as far away from these apartments that you can. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

That is true on the rent time. If you rent before the 1st of the month. It is is a 12 1/2 month lease. We're paying double rent right now when we moved to another complex.
