I lived here for one year, from August 2006 to August 2007. The location of the apartment complex is great, being so close to shopping and major streets. It's easy to get into and out of with the light at the corner.

When the maintenance staff were told to come to an apartment, they did a great job. None of the maintenance people were discourteous; and one went out of his way to install the washer and dryer.

The office people, however, each would say one thing and do another. I had said something to them about the window screen not being the right size, and could I have a replacement. The carpet was also coming up in the edges. I told the complex about these things in October. In June they were still not resolved.

The apartment itself was also very poorly designed. The rod for hanging clothes was only accessible by standing on a stool, or for someone who is at least 6'5". The aforementioned washer and dryer that were supposed to be installed upon move in took two weeks to arrive, and then another two weeks for the apartment office to schedule the maintenance to install it. All of the appliances were older, and the stove was on it's last legs. The air conditioner was near the floor and behind the front door, and it cooled the room a little but not as much as it could. The extremely thin walls allowed noise to travel easily, and the office staff said to call them if a neighbor was too loud, but then they did nothing.

This might be an OK apartment for a college student at UCCS but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone outside of that category.
