I moved in on May 5th and the landlord agreed to a 6 month lease as I was looking to buy a house. So..I stayed up until 1 week from the lease termination date and Bonnie informed me she was keeping my deposit because I did not give her a one month notice. It is her responsibility to know this information and termination dates and deposits aren't to be kept over termination of the agreed upon tenancy. It is all about the condition the apartment is kept in for the duration of the stay. Furthermore I had a dog puking on my deck from above, my air conditioner never worked, the refrigerator they replaced mine with opened the wrong way into the cabinets and even it was from another apartment and filthy at best, do I need to mention the carpets. Now add on top of this that you must pay utilites and such. And the crackhead down the hall has ran an extension cord out his door to the nearest outlet because he has no electricity....Don't that beat all.
