Confirmation of Nightmare From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 1/4/2005 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004 1 response   This apartment complex is high on promises but low on delivery. Sometimes they get it right but most of the time they under deliver. If you've read the other reviews you see the same problems come up. The bottom line is that for the price you are paying this place brings in tenants with not the best integrity. If you want a place that is safe this will not suffice. Why' Well the burned out lights all over the place is one example coupled with the run down nature of the interior of, at least, our unit. About half of the outlets in the apartment have weak connections and need to be rewired. The heat is a joke. Don't expect to be warm with electric heat. Even after maintenance put more weather striping in the heat still seaps out leaving a high utility bill and still a cold that never leaves. (lived in Colorado my entire life so not a Phoenix person here that is too sensitive to the cold) The construction is a nuisance as they underbid the contract and the workers really are inadept at their work. If you move in during construction expect to hear the amusing conversations between angry foremen and their employees who do things wrong. Don't know how many times they've had to redo things on the outside of our apartment. Which equals more banging and sawing all day long. The construction crew has nothing to do with the property directly but expresses the methodology of Aimco; pay as little as possible to get things done. Want quality than go elsewhere. Shop around because you WILL be moving after your lease is up. Management changes so often that I expect to see a new face every time I pay rent.
