I lived in the Knolls appartments for a year. The maintenance was a nightmare. I was pregnant and due in July... It was horrible , our airconditioner never worked. They messured the heat in the appartment at 90* on an average day but never replaced our airconditioner or fixed it. Cubbard doors were falling off so often I got sick of calling them. When it came time to give notice and leave, I asked 2 months in advance what day I should turn in a notice and what was the appropriate way according to the office. So I did exsactly what they asked, when they asked... and now they are pretending I never wrote a letter, confirmed my 30 day notice, and two months later are trying to hit my family up for more rent. My husband is in Iraq and I moved home. They treated us horrible. Now I have to go to JAG to get them to be honest. We paid over $800 a month and the living conditions were not even up to that standard. People would sometimes throw parties after hours up at the hot tub and pool. One time someone cut themselves with a broken bottle and bled all over the walls and floor in the ladies bath room at the office,... The office was informed but they didnt clean it up for days later... and there was broken glass in the hot tub but they still let people in it... and cleaned it out a week later. That place was horrible!!!! It wasnt very safe either. A few days after I had a baby some people were going door to door trying to say anything for people to let them in. Someone came to my door, and asked for a glass of water... when we didnt let them in, the guy ran down got into is unmarked white van with two other guys in it.. and sped off.. Later I learned those guys were going around robbing people,,.. and the appartment security had seen them before. So, its a gated community.. but is the allur of saftey ,,.... peoples stuff got robbed and vandalized all the time.
