I lived here with my husband for 1.5 years. The view truly is breathtaking. The apts are your typical cookie cutter standard apts, which I expected and was not too disappointed with but the management on the other hand is a different story!!!!! Solely based on my experience with the manager I would not recommend this place. There were minor problems during the year but our moving out experience was a nightmare. After moving out all of the furniture we called the rug cleaners typically used by the management to clean all the carpets. To touch up any marks on the wall we asked the management for paint recommendations. They sent us to get paint from the maintenance people which we did. In the end we cleaned, painted etc... so much so that when the Meadows rep did their end of the lease walk through they make a comment of how they rarely saw places as clean as ours. A month later we got a letter from the management telling us they were keeping our full deposit and were charging us an additional $150!!! The justification was for getting the carpet cleaned (which we had already done and left the receipt on the counter when we left), for new blinds, and to touch up the paint that we had painstakingly touched up when we left. I left over 10 messages for the manager to call me back and it took me two months to actually get the secretary to successfully transfer me to her (she was conveniently always out of the office!!!!). She was insanely belligerent on the phone and in the end I hung up with no resolution!!!! P0MtU6TIdDkM23RTonAS

I've lived in this complex twice. Still here on my second tour. My previous move out experience was smooth as silk. The Manager has been here a long time and she is one of the most savy and professional Apartment managers I've ever encountered. A more helpful and understanding person would be difficult to find in my estimation. But she's "by the book" and I respect that. As a responsible and loyal employee she rates a "10" on my scale. This publisher must not have the ability to look objectively at an issue that is adverse to them and is just blowing steam.

I have to say that I had a similar experience to the original poster of this review. The management has a practice of manufacturing charges in order to keep deposits. If you managed to have a smooth move-out, bully for you. That does not invalidate the horrible experiences that apparently many of the rest of us have endured. It is not "blowing steam" to expect your landlord to behave in an ethical and lawful manner.

Wow. I've looked at the history of this site and couldn't help but notice that "depositless", who authored the above comment, and as an army of one, has had something negative to say on numerous postings, which makes you wonder whether it is even coming from a tenant, as opposed to a disguntled ex employee or a competitor? And, I can't find the "many horrible" experiences she refers to, aside from her own, which only seem vindictively motivated. For my part, I'll be guided by the comment from "Eagleeye" who sounds like a serviceman who has some respect for regulations and the responsibility for command as well as those who have earned it.
