In the beginning, it was a very welcoming neighborhood. Parking was slim, but the spacious apartment made up for it. Little by little, we noticed just how bogus the lease was. A month before our move out date, we were going to be 2 days late on our rent; that was fine because in our lease, it stated $50 was the late rent fee. The first day we were late, we found a notice outside of our door stating we owed the complex the $50 plus an extra $211!! Where did that come from' Supposedly, since we had $211 off for our discounted rent each month, there was a clause in the lease "stating we must pay the difference". The lease was very fishy and did NOT state that clearly. So, they threatened to evict us and take us to court the DAY BEFORE it was even due!!! We had no other choice but to pay the extra money. Read between the lines before you sign!!!! We also had a mold problem in both of our showers, yet, they NEVER came to fix it!!! The manager said, "I will put in a work order for it". Two months later, no one had even knocked on our door.

I would just like to say that it is so annoying to read a nasty comment because someone was not smart enough to read their lease before they signed it. The neighborhood was not trying to pull a fast one, but was following their lease and sorry you feel that the lease is bogus. I enjoy this complex and have no complaints.

Well, they give a 3-day grace on the rent due (1st) before the fee kicks in. What else do you want? And yes, read your lease throughly, carefully and all the small print as everything in there is industry standard depending on the State in which one resides. I've had no problems that weren't resolved quickly and in a timely manner.

Sounds like we have some apologists for the shrewd tactics of tHE nEIGHBORHOOD. The place is backwards. My monthly notices are always threatening--Don't dumpster dive or else. More than two vehicles...You'll pay the tow fee. The list goes on and on. DRUG Sniffing dogs, what is this Germany under Adolf. Ridiculous, and a $216.00 late fee for three days is theft, claus or no claus! Nice apartments, worst service I've ever come into contact with.

Gotta love when the management comes on here and defends the place and acts like anyone who complains is an idiot. Management here is horrible, rude, crude, and don't give a crap about you once you sign the lease. Before signing, they act like angels, but after they treat you like you are dirt. Clauses or no clauses, there is no excuse for treating your customers (and YES renters are customers) like dirt.
