I concider myself to be a good honost member of the armed forces. I strongly belive in loyalty, duty, respect, honor, selfless service, integrity, and personal courage. Not one of these qualities will you find in the office staff at THE NEIGHBORHOOD APARTMENTS. I had a illness that by army standards had given me quarters and bed rest for 72 hours which kept me from making my payment to the office ( which is run by a female named Stephanie :( ) they were as quick to post a notice of mandatory compliance as soon as the 4th of April. I attempted to drop a check written in the amount agreed in the lease on the 4th of April which was returned with a huge void written across it on the 6th of April. I attempted to plea my story on the 7th of April about the illness that i had and how it played a part in my late payment. The office manager assistant told me some mumbo jumbo about the Federal Housing equal Oppertunity (FHEO) that didnt even apply to me according to the judge (do your research, people are vindictive and will say whatever just to get rid of you) The officer manager ( Stephanie) wouldnt even come out of her office to speak with me, and had her pawn relay her message before i was sent away with the answer that "there is nothing that we can do for you, cuz if we make an exception for you then we have to make an exception for everybody". I would hope that if someone was in the situation that i was they would work with them. Now that is a part of the (FHEO) that they felled to mention. The next day on the 8th of April i had a notice to appear in court on the 15th of April. I left several messages at the regional office and never heard a word back. I attempted to make a payment in full at there attorney's office the day before court (14th of April). Even though i didnt fully agree with the additional $150 dollars that they had added to the costs, the attorney proceded to call the office manager (stephanie) only to find out that they wanted me evicted and no amount of money would keep me there. They told him that they have had too many issues with me to want me to stay. These issues he immediately forgot 1 min after getting off of the phone with them. I also attempted to pay the amount in full at court on the 15th of April (where there only reason for me vacating was failure to pay) and they refused to take payment then as well, and wanted me to sign papers agreeing to there bogus terms of vacating the premesis and paying the remaining months of rent in one payment and keeping my deposit. I would not agree to those terms and requested that a trial by judge be set. It is now the 21st of April and the court luckily found in favor of me the defendent due to there inability of knowledge and attorney that sealed there fate for them with his fancy move to call forth a witness. No one is safe from the leaches of managment here at THE NEIGHBORHOOD APARTMENTS nor from being thrown out of there home to include veterans, military, children, or honost people by these un-classy an un-professional people they call the staff of the NEIGHBORHOOD APARTMENTS. I gave them my trust and money on top of referring a friend here (which i am truly sorry for bringing him into there money trap here at THE NEIGHBORHOOD APARTMENTS) and they just try to take and take. I would not recommend moving into these apartments if you are in the least bit concerned about having a place to call home because they will take it from you with any chance they get. I also do not recommend moving here if you value your hard earned money that they will try to take from you in any way they can. I am going to go to the local news to show what kind of treatment the managment is giving to its tennants, as well as try my hardest to place them on the black list for the military for the simple fact that no one deserves the treatment that is provided here at THE NEIGHBORHOOD APARTMENTS. I would most definately not recomend THE NEIGHBORHOOD APARTMENTS nor any other company that is run by CON AM seing as how they must condole the actions of the staff that they have kept around here for so long, even with all of the complaints against them.

wow hun that is so sad to hear, shame on the management for what they have done, one thing I know is certain and that KARMA is a ----- so keep your distance when it hits them.

I have Lived at the neighborhood Apts for almost 3 yrs now and never have had a problem with the Office Staff, I pay my rent on time, Party only at the clubs.when I have a problem I called the Office an it is taken care of... I have Told all my friends about The neighborhood and think very highly of the Staff in my apt. I called the Office and it is taken care of
