Working with the management staff has been an absolutely nightmare. They are impossible to contact and generally rude when/if you manage to speak with them. They are seemingly never in the office and totally unknowledgeable, even when asked the most rudimentary questions.
The apartments themselves are in rather poor shape. The ceilings and walls contain asbestos and were then painted with lead paint. To top off these health hazards, everything is paper thin so all sounds your neighbors make will be easily heard. ALL SOUNDS.
I killed at least a half dozen spiders my first week in the apartment not to mention several more unidentified bugs. My garbage disposal always smelled a little funky, no matter how many times I had it "repaired", But generally speaking, the apartment smelled a little "ripe" anyway.
The sliding glass front door(!) offers essentially no privacy or safety, both of which you will be desperate for, especially after you are approached by hobos while walking from your car to your apartment.
I would STRONGLY recommend looking elsewhere, regardless of your budget or circumstances there are better apartments in Colorado Springs.
