The reviews that I've read here are all very old! Could somebody please tell me what it's like living there NOW, halfway through 2009' Has management or maintenance improved' I am seriously considering this place as somewhere to live, and I want an accurate, current review.

I live here now. I have been here just over a year. The apartments are not the best, but they are also not as bad as those reviews you have read. They are cheap and clean. The floorplans are pretty good. I live in a studio apartment on the first floor. I was going to move to a 2 bedroom apt. with a roommate. It did not come about, but the rate including water was $520. My studio with water is 378. All apartments are electric only. (no gas) My electric in the summer is less than $40. In the winter with the weather and the price of fuel being what it was this last year, it ran between $60 and $78. I hope this has been some help to you. Oh, before I forget the parking lot is horrible. Lots of potholes, but then the city streets are not much better because of the weather. We had some weeks this last winter that ran in the single digits.

I lived there 12 years ago and it was not bad then.
