Residence At Skyway

Trouble As soon as I walked in the door. From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/24/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   I am a single pregnant woman , who was impressed by the ad in the FOR RENT catalogue for this place. the Ad listed a one bedroom with a w/d hookup for $495 to $525. Looked like a great deal. Also the pictures of the apartments looked very good in the catalogue. I am 9 months pregnant, and decided this could be the asnwer to my finacnial problems, and went to look at this apartment. I got in the door , the inside looked very nice. went to the office . there sat a guy with brown hair. I told him i was interested in looking @ the apartments, and he told me that the prices in the catalgoue were the " sale prices " and the actual prices were around $100 more than what was listed. The phone rang. I stood there ( no chairs to sit in) 9 months pregnant while he kicked back, put his feet up on the desk, and started talking to whoever had called him on the phone. He sat there talking about his doctor giving him some drug that makes you give up drugs, sex, anything your addicted to. then he started asking the caller on the other end " are you speeding or down, how u feeling' i hate that shaky feeling when your right in between." i sat quietly waiting while my pelvic bone is about to fall out from standing 5 minutes while he is talking. Then he said "oohhh yes you keep talking like that and I'm going to need a cigarette" . At this point i was considering just walking out but figured he could be a flight-by-night leasing agent, and didn't want to judge the apartment based off of him alone. No more than two seconds later he took the lords name in vain and that was enough for me. I walked out. I plan on writing the owner a complaint about the way this man conducted business. I took it as a sign, that this is the place I do nto want to live. ITs a shame becuase the building behind him ( where you can see the atrium) was very beautiful looking.
