I moved into my apartment at the Retreat at Cheynenne Mountain and enjoyed every minute of it. Unfortunately I received a job transfer two weeks after I signed my lease. I have to pay two months market rate rent which is about 250 dollars more than I currently rent( from $785 to $1025). Not to mention whatever else is tacked on ( hopefully nothing since I haven't been in the apartment more than a month. Well I signed the contract so I guess I'm responsible for the payment to get out of my lease. Can't count that against the complex. The only thing that the community should do is upgrade their doors, windows and patio doors. The apartment is quite drafty which will result in high utility bills especially during the winter months.
