I have lived here since July 2006. I recommended a friend here but then they told me about this website. I have to say that I was suprised to see the low ratings. I have always lived in an apartment and no apartment community is perfect but this has been close to perfect for me. My neighbors are nice and the office staff is always friendly and helpful. The only problem I have noticed is people don't always pick up after their pet so there is poop on the grass. About the pizza guy being robbed by teenagers, that can happen anywhere. I don't feel any less "safe" because it happened here. Overall, I recommend The Retreat.
