Yo!

Most Horrible Experience Ever at Sagebrook...

We have lived at Sagebrook for 9 months so far and have had nothing but problem after problem. We moved in during early August of 2005 (The middle of Summer's hottest time) and the air conditioner did not work right off the bat. To make matters worse, Sagebrook didn't do ANYTHING for 5 weeks. They finally came out and fixed it in September. 2 Days later it was broken again. Same thing through the beginning of October. They had to come out 3 times and the story gets better. There was a leak in the system that they never fixed, they just kept filling up the air conditioner with more coolant. It always took them a week to respond to us as well. Then, in the middle of Winter, our Heater went out. Once again, it was a week before they cared to fix it. Also, the seals around the doors and windows are soo bad that all of your heat escapes and end up costing you hundreds more in heating and cooling during your stay. Don't expect them to fix this problem either. We've asked 7 times now and they still haven't done it. Now, it's summer again and what do you know, the air conditioner doesn't work again! Same hassle. It took a week for them to respond the first time and then it went out 3 more times after that. Lets see if it goes out again. Next is the HORRIBLE PARKING SITUATION. You'd better be home by 7pm every night to get yourself a decent parking place otherwise you'll literally have to park a half mile away on the other side of the complex to get spot. Its so bad people are having to park in the fire lanes, and the management won't do anything to reserve parking for the actual paying tenants. Most of the cars here are junk cars that stay here for weeks because some college jerks let their buddies "hang" with them. Last, is that Sagebrook won't tell you this, but you only have ONE choice for high speed internet and that is Qwest. And because you have only one choice, you have to pay their expensive price for this package. With taxes and all it ends up costing $60.00 a month for half the speed and double the cost of cable internet. We consulted a lawyer and have sued to break the contract with no penalty. This place is terrible, the management is the worst I have ever experienced. I'm one of those people that is pretty laid back about this stuff and doesn't like bad mouthing, but you must be warned before moving here. This place is a nightmare. We also had the SWAT TEAM at the complex once because there was a meth lab in one of the complexes or something. This is Briargate!!! One of the most expensive areas of town. I can see Pine Creek Golf Course from my window right now, as well as all the 1.5 million dollar houses. You think they'd better screen their tenants. The place also has super thin walls and is really noisy.
