Maintenance is good, but very slow to respond. The office staff has no way to enforce Noise Regulation, although the lease claims they will. Some people seriously take advantage of this and make life a nightmare for the rest of us. Worst is the rent fluctuation: Youre stuck for life at the highest rate you ever agreed to, even though they may be renting out units to new tenants at quite literally half the price. They will not adjust your rent even after your current lease expires. Buildings are secure, requiring code to enter. *Most* tenants seem to respect that - others prop the doors open. Near a college, which affects the renters attracted to the area. Located in an area which offers digital cable TV & cable modem service. Parking lots are kept up, and complex is located on city bus line. Good street maintenance in the area, too. Police response time is rapid (the sad thing is that I *know* this!). Local elementary school is excellent. Sex offender database for the area is kept up to date and available for the asking. Relatively quiet, established neighborhood. Units are small but well laid-out, available storage is exceptional (pantry, floor-to-ceiling cupboards, linen closet, walk-in closets, coat closet, optional extra storage rooms available). Views cant be beat.
