follow up to last review- still ok apts, but you'll lose your deposit.

i left the "not bad for starting out" review and still feel it was an ok apartment, but i thought i'd follow up and warn people that you more than likely won't get your deposit back at thi place. i was told i left the apartment in "beautiful condition," only to get a statement in the mail the next day saying i was only getting $17 back out of the $150 i had originally paid. the fees went toward general cleaning and carpet cleaning which should be standard services paid for by the *management company*, not the tenant.
i was happy with Spring Creek until this, so naturally, i feel cheated.

I agree with this review. I was generally satisfied with my apartment (2006-2007). And had no complaints about managment. I did have one stint with the boiler going out which kind of sucked with a couple cold nights, but it is an old building. But the thing that did upset me was when I moved out. I cleaned the aparment, shampooed the carpet ect. but I did not receive my deposit back either.
