My husband and I lived there for almost a year and alothough we never had any problems with the office staff or getting maintenence problems fixed, there were a few things that we would rather have known about before we moved in. We had a two bedroom apartment and for most of the winter months could not use the extra bedroom which doubled as a computer room because it was feezing in there. The insulation was lousy, which is suprising since the apaprtments were built in COLORADO. Trying to save on the heating bills we wore layers of clothes indoors all the time. The rent seemed pretty steep for the quality of the apartments. You could tell the were built cheap and have been maintained pretty cheapily too. Meaning quick patch jobs and cover ups. If you're a non smoker beware. You'll soon be a smoker at least partially. Everyone in the apartments around us smoked, and it traveled through the walls and medicine cabinets into the apartment. It also traveled through the AC vents. I hated it. I had to burn candles and load up on neutralizer spray just to live there. The apartments were no where close to even being slightly sound proof.... so if you have a squeaky bed..... Other than that they were moderate places to live. When you don't own the place you got whatever they're offering. Oh yeah, try and park in front of your apartment (and that's usually not where the covered parking is), and it's better to have a car alarm. While we were there 10 months and during that time 6 cars were either stolen from the apartment complex parking lot or broken into and vandalized. So much for those night time security guards. I found the staff nice and otherwise the place was okay. The complaints i have listed were discovered after we had signed the lease and moved in. We dealt with them, but if you can't I suggest you live elsewhere.
