Ghetto

If you like the ghetto and all of the problems it entails, by all means, live at Tanager Meadows. Parking, after 6 pm is TERRIBLE. Oh, you'll find a spot, but it will be on the other side of the complex you actually live in. Construction workers leave their equipment in the parking lot and rarely move them, even if it's not allowed. People race through the lot with stereos blaring. There was a murder in the parking lot when I lived there...a few cars down from my own car no less. In the apartment below me a man was arrested for domestic abuse and rap, which my roommate witnessed. After the man's friends confronted my roommate about what he saw, we decided to move and the management gave us a hard time about wanting to move due to harassment resulting from domestic violence that took place in the apartment right below us. Even though pitbulls are restricted, people still own them. People don't clean up after their dogs. Parents don't watch their children and let them scream at all hours of the day outside, even when you don't live near the pool. Speaking of the pool it's ALWAYS filled with noisy children without adult supervision. You can only use the jacuzzi during office business hours...so if you work a 'normal' shift, you'll never get to use it.
Maintenance was fast and the staff was helpful about that, but lacked follow when it came to complaints about other residents.
The Safeway across the street was convenient, but that's hardly worth it since you can't walk there without being approached by loitering teens.
So do yourself a favor and don't rent here. There are better apartment complexes that offer the same luxuries without the ghetto. odusyNYCcZ7yL3Bj5JtG
