I thoroughly enjoy living here and have no complaints. It is a quiet community, clean, and priced very well for the amenities and style of these townhomes. However, as for your complaint, I have never lived in a community where batteries for the garage doors were provided. You used it up, go buy one. Management is not responsible for the replacement of your battery. Yes, a place could be nice and provide one but that is rarity. On to your work orders, do you know in most states it is required by law to put a work order in writing and submit it. Though I am unsure of all the laws in Colorado, most states have a time requirement for completion on work orders. I know California has a 30 day law in which most work orders have to be remedied within 30 days. So, put it in writing, retain a copy of it, submit it, and if nothing is done within 30 days bring it to the attention of the manager and if nothing is done after that I would suggest seeking another course of action. As for the place being "ghetto", I do not think so. What is ghetto... is your grammar and spelling. |

Well, I think tarne is a jack%$### and you should not be concerned with his or her comments. I have lived here for a very long time and have watched as the place goes downhill. I too have had many, many problems getting maintenance to fix things. My biggest problem is all the pets allowed to just roam around freely and pet owners not cleaning up after them. Yes, while tarne might be right about how some states requiring work orders be submitted in writing---maybe he/she should go back to California since he knows the laws there because here in Colorado it is the responsibility of management to get those work orders to the tenants to fill out and turn back in if that is the process they are using at the complex--but it is not required! Also, for as long as I have live here(about 10 years) the front office has ALWAYS replaced the garage door batteries---So TARNE can go jump in a lake with his/her/or whatever comments. Glad they are happy-- but based on all the friends and neighbors I have talked to Tarne must be in a class of their own-- because most are not happy-- with all the lack of maintenance, the condition of the units, the fact that people are free to park in fire lanes and allow their pets to roam around freely and poop and pee everywhere. I can't wait until Tarne needs something repaired and gets a dose of reality. Better yet, can't wait till a dog poops all in his yard and he gets to deal with the mess!!!!
