Still needs work

After many, many changes of management and maintenance the place still needs some help. The last management, Griffis Blessing was horrible in the beginning because Heather was a horrible landlord who did not have the experience to run a complex like this one. Now, there is a new management team and we have no idea who they are because the new landlord didn't bother to give us an information sheet with all that information. I have to say, while I didn't like the old management of Griffis Blessing, at least they performed maintenance in a timely fashion. Also, they did hold up the rules. If a person was seen allowing their dog to use the bathroom without cleaning up after it they were immediately dealt with. Now, the new landlord lets people run wild. There are people parking all in the fire lanes and last I checked that was illegal. Not only are they allowed to park there, but if you complain about it you are told that front office allows them to park in these places for various reasons. Let's just hope we don't have a fire someday! Oh, and the pets. Well, let's just say there is dog poop all over the community. You cannot walk outside to even take out the trash without stepping in some dog poop. Oh, and not to mention the fact that there are certain individuals that have "landlord preference" and aren't required to have their pets on a leash...even though it's the law and could be enforced by the humane society if I chose to be a jerk and report it. Ironically, when we first moved in we received a list of "Rules" with our lease. One of the so called rules is "all pets must be on a leash". I guess that only applies to those individuals who the landlord doesn't make special treatment of. I am basically tired of complaining to management because they don't give a crap about my concerns and don't do a dang thing about it. I mean, how fair is it to me that I work very hard in my yard to have a nice, clean, kept lawn and everyday there are dogs mulling all around it, pooping and peeing all over the place. I can't even let my child play out in my front lawn without checking first for dog poop. Now, let's talk about maintenance. I have been most disappointed with maintenance and their lack of assistance when reporting it. I have mold growing in my bathroom(which I have reported numerous times), I have a leaking dishwasher(was told half the complex has this problem and they are waiting to see if they can get a deal and purchase some new dishwashers---that was a year ago, I have a refrigerator that is supposed to be new but makes noises like it is about to croak and doesn't keep the food cold, I have been asking for over a year to have the carpet shampoo, there are some places where the carpet is so old that there are nails sticking up and I step on them(this too has yet to be addressed by maintenance), I could go on and on about all the issues this place has that I have asked to be repaired---but there isn't anything any of you can do about it, so I will quit boring with you my problems. I am so tired of asking maintenance to fix something and them telling me, I will be down in a minute and them just not showing up or even calling to say they aren't coming. Management sucks! Maintenance sucks! I have to say, I would not recommend anyone move into this place because the management does not care about anything except collecting rent each month. Don't get me wrong, the community is a very nice community with a lot of potential but I have watched year after year as the place goes down more and more and with each new management that takes over it just seems to get worse. I hate that I feel like I pay money each month and cannot get one thing repaired in this place and that there are people who are allowed to do whatever they want(park in fire lanes, dogs roam free and poop and pee anywhere they want without being cleaned up after), people throwing their trash down outside instead of putting in trash can because they don't respect this community.

I am the Manager of Templeton Ridge. We are sorry you are so dissapointed in our community. We do our best to make this a community you want to call home. Let me respond to your requests: 1st ALL service requests should be in writing.( we do our best and if your requests weren't handled properly it is your responsilbility to follow up with the office NOT the maintenance.) 2nd Last year I personally handed out along with the old maintenance person 85 Community Policies letting everyone know the property was under new management and who was in charge, along with the office hours and emergency maintenance numbers. This letter was posted on all 85 FRONT doors. If you are upset that your rent was raised that is not a reason to write a bad review.(MARKET RENT is $949.)Again I am sorry you felt the need to discuss this online instead of discussing it with me. Maybe in the future you can become happier. There are alot of very happy residents who live here and we would like you to be happy as well.
