The views are amazing. The maintenance staff is excellent. Approaching the complex, you would never think there were apartments in the neighborhood, it's in the middle of a neighborhood of nothing but expensive houses. It is extremely quiet, that can't be stressed enough, it is truly a sanctuary. You get a garage! The rent is a steal given the location and layout. It's like living at a mountain resort. A lot of the negatives in the other reviews are true, but it doesn't take away from the overall experience. I miss Juanita, she was a great manager. She cared, it seems like the new manager doesn't. Yes there are more bears than in the middle of the city, but you're living in the woods, you're gonna see them. When the dumpsters are used properly, the bears stay away. The vaulted ceilings in our apt were great. The unique shelves along the walls are great. The balcony attaches to your living room and bedroom. The layout is one of the best plans I've seen. Most neighbors are friendly.
The pet policy is awful, you'll get raked over the coals. You pay a $250 deposit (plan to spend on carpet if your pet has an accident), a $150 fee that goes nowhere but in the owner's pocket, and $15 a month pet rent. You pay all this just to have a pet there, and most places charge one, maybe two of the above, but not all three. The deposit is all that shows up on your move-out statement, you paid them more money than they give you credit for.
