My husband and I moved in during the summer of 2002. We rented a 2br/ba. We lived in a 'pet building'. I thought this was a great concept...until we realized that the lousy maintence never cleans up around these buildings. We are tucked away in the back, so who would notice, right' I called and spoke to Jennifer, the apartment "manager" and asked her if they could clean up outside...especially the mounds of dog poop. She said that we could do it if we did not want to wait until maintence got around to it in a few weeks!! She also said that if I or any other resident expected them to clean up, then they would charge us $50 per item. I could not believe it..she said that she can do whatever since we all have a clause in our lease...I'm looking at my lease and it's not here. This occured in October...it's almost February and NOTHING has been done. On top of that, nothing in the 'fitness' room ever works!!
