Forget it and rent a house!

For those of you that are under the impression that the rent here is so cheap...think again. When this was a half way decent place to live, the rent was NOT cheap. Now, those of us still paying rent for what we could rent/buy a home for are stuck with the the present situation (ie paying high rent to live in a dump). In reference to the person who said to break a lease to get out -- some people here actually care about their credit. Not to mention, I refuse to be any more penalized that what I already am! I am leaving when my lease is up - make no mistake. Good luck to any sucker that moves in.
