I used to live in Sunset Ridge for a year. My fiance and I looked at these apartments and loved the location and neighborhood. Turns out it was the decision from hell. The office staff is friendly UNTIL you pay for your first month. Unfortunatley Jennifer, the office manager, is a crass crude lying *itch.

The parking was terrible. We could never find a place to park. We would find a place about a block away, and then we would walk in the barley lit parking lot to our third floor apt. We had the lights in the stairwell out for almost the entirety of our stay.

The noise is insane. They will rent to anyone because all they care about is money. It was seriously like watching an episode of cops out of our bedroom window. We saw the cops nightly, we saw a woman get thrown down by her husband, and we could hear another couple screaming obscenities at 3am nightly. We notified management but NOTHING was done.

We love kids and animals, but some of the dogs were unruly and nothing was done about it. Not to mention the kids that wandered the complex were out at all hours of the night. The grounds are filthy with cigarette butts, and dog poo. Even after several complaints from ourselves and other tenants NOTHING was ever done.

What maintenance.....what a joke! We called once for help because our toilet leaked. We had some friends that moved in the same time we did and they saw two maintenance guys go into our apartment and stay there for about 4 hours. We were at work but when we got home the toilet wasnt fixed. It took several calls and three months until it was fixed.

As for the apartment we had a beautiful view, but the walls were cracked, the carpet was stained, the bathroom linolium in both bathrooms was curling up, the windows didnt shut properly (so we had a huge draft), and the fridge leaked and didnt even keep things frozen half the time. Also my fiances car was broken into and we had nonstop solicitors late in the evenings.

Overall, it sucked. And since we are so picky about our credit history not to mention we were never late nor did we ever have any complaints we had to suffer a full year of HELL! I feel sorry for current tenants, and I just wanted to forwarn any potential renters. Look elsewhere. By the way.... We rent a 3 bedroom house less then 2 minutes away for less than we paid in rent at this place.
