I keep reading all these bad reviews about Sunset Ridge Apartments, but I live here and we haven't had any problems with anything. The maintenance people usually come the same day we call them to say we have a problem which has only happened once. We have 2 pets but they only charge us for one b/c they wanted to help us out on our costs. We live in one of the nicest neighborhoods around Colorado Springs and we have a terrific view. I am pregnant and the office staff always gladly helps me carry any packages I receive back to my apartment and they are always very friendly and helpful. So, I don't know who wrote some of the reviews about the apartment but I think it's great. They have a team that comes in and does all their landscaping so the grass always looks terrific. As far as the dog poop everywhere, I don't feel that is Sunset Ridge's fault. They have designated spots for the dogs to go and they even put out bags and trash cans specifically to pick up the dog poop. That is the responsibility of the owners. We always pick up after our dog and I don't think you should expect the apartment complex to take care of your pet for you. To be honest, I really don't see near as much dog poop on the property as what people make it sound like. This property really is nice and our apartment is very spacious! The office staff has always been nice and considerate to us and we love it here and would gladly renew our lease.
