Find ANY other place to live and you?ll do better

When I first moved into the Woodland Hills complex, the management was excellent; however, in the 4 years I have lived here, on-site management has gotten progressively worse, and maintenance has become a joke. The current office manager is a complete air-head, and the property management firm, Sentinel Real Estate, rarely returns phone calls.
When I first moved in, background checks were done on prospective occupants; now, this complex is clearly desperate to have tenants and is renting to anybody with a deposit.
The police are frequently called to this location to break up fights and domestic disturbances. Various vehicles, including my own, have been broken into due to the almost non-existent lighting and crowded conditions in the parking lot. The pool area is generally dirty; the much-vaunted hot tub is nothing less than filthy.
Finally, if you, like me, happen to be a member of any sort of minority, be prepared for an insensitive and even openly hostile staff.
The ONLY reason I am still here is that I am one of the very many people hit by the lay-offs in the Colorado Springs tech sector; rest assured that I will be finding another residence immediately upon securing a new position.
In short - my advice is to STAY AWAY!
