its quite nice, but...

I've lived here for about 9 months now and personally I like it here, there are a couple negatives that I feel are powerful enough to make me reconsider renewing my lease, but otherwise I think this place is wonderful.
The first and biggest problem is the noise. From normal conversations, to crying children, whats on tv, to loud parties, to apparantly wild & relatively violent sex; I can hear it all in the apartment above and below me. And if that isn't enough, then throw in the parking lot, cause often (especially on friday and saturday nights when all the drunks are coming home) I can hear what's being said and done out there too.
Second, would be the parking lot itself, there usually isn't enough parking for the tenants, or there's way too many people using this place for free parking.
Lastly, (and I know most will find this one stupid, but it ticks me off.) the design of the living room, and the layout of the phone jacks. I love my fireplace... it also happens to be in the way of everything. Who puts a phone jack directly over the sink anyway' There's better ways of dealing with telemarketers than dumping your phone into a sink full of water... really! And if you have a large stereo system, a 27" tv, and a couch... good luck making it all fit. (again, yes I know that last bit was whining. sorry.)
