Well, Verde Meadows was sold by Omni Mgmt. Corp to Citadel Mgmt. Co. and things went downhill ever since. They fired the housekeeper and the grounds, once immaculate gradually turned filthy. The laundry rooms had broken machines and graffiti all over them. The concrete steps throughout the complex and leading to the apartments are broken cracked and some even have yellow caution tape blocking them from use. New tenants under Citadel Mgmt. amounted to hoodlums and drug users, the police were called almost every other day. On top of that, when you move out, the Manager, who is NEVER on site, refuses to do a walk through of your apartment, resulting in ridiculous charges for falsified damages and cleaning. What a miserable place to live. Good job to Citadel Mgmt for turning a nice complex into another slum of SE Colorado Springs. DO Not move into this hellhole.
