There are far better places to live for the price... From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/1/2003 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003   First, the management changes almost every 2 months, which means if you have a problem, you'll have to explain it several times. Maintenance is terrible. We had a leaking baseboard heater valve which need to be replaced. Turns out no one even turned the heat valve on for the winter. After the valve was replaced, maintenance was supposed to repaint the portions of the wall which were scorched by the torch. We're still asking and waiting for that to be done. There is a tile in our shower which is loose and allows moisture to gather in the wall. We've reported it 5 times already and still no maintenance. The noise is terrible. The management relies on the local sheriff to take care of the problems, but never puts a warning on the offending tenants door unless it happens right in front of the manager. The sidewalks are usually decorated with garbage or cat litter. Dogs are required to have leashes, but that isn't enforced by the management, even though it's in the leasing agreement. Contacting the management company for the complex (AIMCO) doesn't do anygood. You often get an extension for someone who doesn't work there anymore. If you do have some luck and speak to AIMCO, nothing happens, even if you follow up. They just say its being looked to. That's what they've been telling me for over 4 months. Bottom-line: If you want a nice 2 bedroom apartment, you can get a better apartment in a nicer community for the same price. Be forewarned, if you move in, you'll just end up moving out or breaking the lease to get out because of how bad it is here. I'm leaving this complex within the next month.
