Vineyards of Colorado Springs

Highly Recommend From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/24/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   We have lived at the Vineyards for 1 year, and although we are excited since we bought our first house, we are very sad to leave living here!! It has been a great place to live... The staff at the leasing office was very friendly and professional. They were just great!!! We had 2 times to call for maintenance (both fairly minor things) and both times the maintenance staff called us within a few hours and were there to fix it immediately. We live in 2BR/2BA unit, and from looking around at other complexes before choosing the Vineyards, this unit has the most space and the best layout around! It is the best value we found, by far! Plus, they have garages or covered parking availalbe too! The absolute only negative things I would have to say is 1. You can hear your neighbors next door fairly easily through the walls, and from above, only if they are loud walkers/elephants, or kids running around. 2. The dog poop issue that you have read from other reviewers. I had a dog, and I always picked up after him....they are nice enough to have "poop bags" and receptacles all over the dang place, at every other grassy space that a dog would utilize, the least people could do is use them!! This however, is not management's problem really, unless they want to hire a full time person to be on doggy poop patrol and fine people! It just proves again, that people suck! You are able to live in this beautiful community, and you don't even care enough to pick up your dogs poop!! In summary, I would highly recommend anyone to live at the Vineyards, it is a beautiful community, the units are great..clean, a great layout, nice room sizes and the kitchen is a good size and space available! They allow larger dogs which is great. The office staff is a pleasure to deal with, as are the maintenace crew...very professional, and always prompt in responding to questions/problems or anything! ABSOLUTELY LOVED LIVING HERE, and very sad to move!!
