ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! NO ONE SHOULD EVER MOVE HERE!

I have been living at the Vineyards for two and a half months and this place is a nightmare. To start, management is an absolute joke and have no idea what the meaning of customer service is. I recently went into the office to pick up my mail and the lady proceeded to point at a closet door and say, "its over there". A closet' give me a break AND this closet was not secure, so basically I could walk in there and grab whatever mail I wanted to with no questions asked. There are always loud teenagers in the pool all night long and no one seems to care. I also had my water heater break today and it is leaking all over my balcony from the third floor all the way to the first floor. The maintenance guy showed up at 3 and turned our water off and said he would be right back with a water heater. THREE hours later he is still no where to be found. So I called Vineyards Maintenance and she said she would page him and see where he's at. I am extremely upset to not have running water for the last three hours. I then called maintenance back ten minutes later wondering why she has not updated me on the status of the situation. She then tells me in a very rude way that I only called eight minutes ago and I told her that I have been without water for three hours. She rudely tells me that the maintenance man has a flat tire and he has no idea where he is. Hmmm...sounds a little ridiculous to me, a three hour flat tire. To sum everything up it is 7:32 pm and I am still waiting for this man to show up. No one should EVER move here.

I completely agree!! Thank God my lease is ending in july! I loved the apartments when I first saw them but managment has changed I think like three differen't times and now their pet policy is getting completely rediculous! I just turned in my 30 days notice into the manager, next thing I know we get a knock on the door saying" you havne't turned in your 30 day we need it or we'll write up another lease" Excuse me maybe if your manager would get her act together you would realize they hey yes I already gave out my notice and maybe you should have put it in my file! I used to be a leasing consultant, i know how it works! First off when my brother and I moved in they had us in three diff apartments, and only gave us the one they did because it was the cleanest! I can only fine one trash dumpster, there is a major pigeon problem and management seems to be the most un-oranized group of people I have ever had to deal with! I agree don't move here unless you want constant confusion, frustration and stupidity then go ahead! They look beautiful in the model but when you move in be prepared to want to leave!

I feel sorry for you people. I lived there a year and experienced the same thing; very poor customer service, snotty and incompetent staff, and I really loved how they threw your mail in the closet for all to steal. I moved out over 3 years ago and they are still trying to collect over $2,000 in wat they said was "damages". Whatever! They will never see me or my money again. BEWARE TO ANYONE LOOKING TO MOVE INTO THE VINEYARDS OF COLORADO SPRINGS!!!

I have to agree with the following opinions. Unfortunatly, I didn't read these reviews before moving in. The major problems in my opinion are the dog poop problem (don't let your kid go out and play on the grass!), the teenagers at the pool until 3:00am just about every night (I live by the pool), the ONE over-flowing trash recepticale, and the trashy state of the apartments- we had a broken garbage disposal, a fridge that (still) leaks, brown water that comes out of the faucets, and carpets that smelled like dog pee. The biggest problem is a tie between (and a combination of) bad construction and trashy people. Now, not all of the people are trashy by no means, but our neighbors above us have two large dogs, a teenager, and a VERY loud surround-sound system that they like to blare at 2:00am. I have been in other apartments where you'll faintly hear your neighbors, but here it's like living in a drum. I've complained to the office, but their response is to call the cops. What a waste of the police's time when I consider it a management problem. Luckly, we have only 6 weeks left. Hopefully, we will be able to retain our sanity until then. Basically, think long and hard before you move here, because you'll probably regret it.
