I have just renewed my lease for another year as I have been happy here at the Vineyards. The office staff IS nice and very helpful - always cheerful and seem to enjoy their jobs. The trash compactor does overflow, but it is swept and cleaned after pickup. The gates do break on occasion and the pedestrian gates have also been broken more than once. Security is good with the gate all around, but not great. I always clean up after my dog and see others doing the same in my area of the complex - it may not be the case in other areas though. I also see maintenance staff walking around doing pooper scooper duty.

The rent is a bit high, but it is the same if not more within the Briargate area - so I guess it depends on where you want to live and paying the price.

Here is what I really love: The school bus comes right to the back gate, the grounds are kept clean and landscape is attractive, the pool is wonderful with shallow areas at each end to stretch out in on hot days, my son loves the gameroom where he can play pool and air hockey,
Here is what I absolutly love about my apartment:
The floorplan of my 2 bedroom!
The bedrooms are seperated on opposite sides of my apartment, with own bath each
I only share 1/2 of one wall with my neighbors - very quiet
The windows let in alot of beautiful sun shine during the day
Washer and Dryer in the unit - very important to me
Apartments are apartments - and as far as that goes, the Vineyards is a really nice place to rent.
