I lived in this place for 2 years and I have to say that what did it for me was the 0 refundable deposits. I have lived in 9 apartment complexes in my life including this and every single place offered a basic security deposit as well as pet deposits that were AT LEAST 50-75% refundable (most 100%), yet this place charges an enormous amount of deposits, especially for animals, that aren't even refundable. I would have to live at those apartments for probably a decade just to take advantage of the pet deposit over other complexes that charge just a small month to month fee.
When I moved in, there were termites holes, obvious plaster patches, spiders, other crawlies ALL over the place. No money was taken out of our monthly rent for going without water for 3, count 'em, 3 days. I called maintenance numerous times for work that never got completed, or work that was started but was never finished for months. Numerous cars were either vandalized or broken into. And to top that all off' New management took over and basically stated that if we didn't pay rent within 5 days, their lawyers would pursue an eviction case. Granted I always paid on time but my GOD! Don't be so stingy people especially for the piss poor job that is being done there.
I went to the pool once, it had bird feces, dead bugs and roaches floating in it, and had a slight yellowish color. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned for 2 years at least.
Nine places I've lived in and I can confidently say that this was by far the worst place. One has to wonder if the few great reviews on here are the staff themselves anonymously trying to talk up the place. They sound very fake because the staff and maintenance don't all prance around with gumdrop smiles and call you by your first name and the interiors of the rooms certainly aren't state of the art architecture here... cmon people...

I had the same problems with creepy crawlies at our apt. The staff and maintenance are HORRIBLE. The one ---- maintenance lady came into my apt while I was showering without permission. Not to mention all the fees and fine print on the lease. AWFUL!
