04/02/13 by anonymous: I've been here for four years. I've lived in two different apartments and both ended up having roaches and BEDBUGS!!! If you tell management it doesn't matter because they come and spray numerous times and the only thing that happens is infestation gets worse! Seems as if the spray with just water!!!! DON'T move here! It will be the nightmare of your life. There are a lot of more

01/31/14 by good_to_be_out_of_grandview_tower: Rent somewhere else Many years ago it was more tolerable to live there, but there were many problems even then. Rent increases, not enforcing assigned parking and ticketing or towing violators, and bad maintenance were the usual until they brought in Sue Daise in 2009. She's not a manager but an admin assistant who acts like a queen dictator. She's raised the rents so high more

12/17/13 by anonymous: I agree with all the reviews. I live in the complex and they do have bugs, and alot of wetbacks because they don't complain. they will take you for every cent they can. they people next door to us have 3 kids and I think they leave there kids by them selfs a lot, they are always hitting the walls. and running in the halls. and homeless people staying in the laundry rooms. So don't more

04/01/13 by anonymous: This is just my short review (I will be adding much more detail soon to come). DO NOT MOVE to THE RISE (formerly known as Lancelot)!!! It is way over priced, for what? Upgraded appliances that don't even work! We have lived here since September and it has been awful! First our apartment wasn't even finished when we moved in. It took them months to finish our hallways and they look more

05/22/12 by anonymous: DO NOT LIVE HERE! I was robbed twice in six weeks and broke my lease and moved out. The regional manager said she would waive the lease break fees once I provided the police documentation but because the police reports didn't specifically say my apartment was broken into they are not waiving the fee. (Who am I to dictate to the police how to write their reports?) I also worked for this company more

06/12/12 by anonymous: We moved in that dump of an apartment in May of 2010 as the last resort. Whatever you do turn and walk the other way. Sherrel Manor is a horrible place to live. Nothing but cops every night, drug dealers, domestic diputes, neighbors fighting one another not to mention there has been 3 management crews in there with nothing getting better. The wind comes straight into the poor, more

10/23/12 by anonymous: The Towns is now The Birch Apartments. The management has changed from Carmel Properties to Blue Line Properties. What has not changed is the horrid management. Blue Line has went all out on modifying the appearance of these apartments, while the central problems have not gone away. The majority of the old maintenance crew has not changed since the days that Carmel ran the property. This more

05/12/13 by anonymous: The HORRIBLE property manager, Yvette, really ruins what could be a great place to live!! Any time I had a problem the rest of the staff was so nice and accommodating but she was just wretched to deal with. The pool is great if you are looking to spring break EVERY weekend and even on week days/nights. If you live in the pool building be prepared to get NO sleep due to the noise. Also be more

06/11/14 by Verified Resident: During the time I've lived here, Red Peak has taken over management of the building and the change, so far, has been a good one. While there is no onsite manager, service requests are fulfilled in a timely fashion and building rules have been implements (ie. no smoking anywhere in the building). more
