05/29/13 by anonymous: I recently moved out of Pearl Manor. The building is decent, kind of old and smelly, but you get what you pay for. OK value, rent-wise, but what makes this place unbearable is the building manager / land lady. She struts around the property in her bath robe like the entire building is her private home, and she treats the residents like scum and talks down to them like children. more

09/09/10 by anonymous: Pros: You can't beat the price along with the location and they don't charge to be on a higher floor. Parking is great and the place is quiet. Cons: Ray Horner. I'd be willing to overlook the drafty apartment with single pane windows and old school appliances that will cost you a pretty penny on your electric and gas bill (sometimes over $100 for a 1 bdrm). Ray Horner made this more

07/28/11 by anonymous: I moved her because I really wanted to move out of my former place. I liked that the rent was cheap but if I would have known how this place was going to be, I wouldnt have moved here. First of all the managment does a poor job of screening the tenants. You could be living next to a sex offender or rapist and not even know it because as long as they pay rent the management doesn't more

04/10/14 by PaulMonn: The WORST property management group in Denver! Stay away and don't waste your money, these people are imbeciles. Not only are they over charged but they don't respond when you try to reach the main office and will not work with their tenants on anything. I could go on and on with the negative feedback but it's not worth my time and neither is Boutique Apartments, the reviews more

06/23/12 by anonymous: Cornerstone staff in general was very nice and accommodating, however the building manager is awful. He does not return phone calls, is rude to tenants(the ones he doesn't blow coke with), and will not hesitate to be dishonest for self benefit. The building is only secure on the 3rd floor and front of 2nd, windows are easy to open from outside. Living in Capital Hill, more

12/03/12 by Littleton_RN: I lived in an apartment here for over 10 years. Yes, it was too long. And yes, I wanted to leave. I wanted to move on, and the neighborhood is noisy, with too many people who just don't care much noise they make. But I wanted to leave on my own terms, and I was planning on taking another 6 to 12 months to do it, so I could gradually prepare and get rid of things I more

12/29/09 by anonymous: DJ is most definitely the worst landlord I have ever had. I called him with the flu and asked him to turn on the heat...I waited for three days. It was zero degrees outside. I had bedbugs and that scheister gave me the runaround for months. And after he finally sprayed (multiple different occasions) he charged me for the mark that the spray left on the wall! I know what you're thinking, more

07/24/13 by befair13: Do not move here unless you like living in discomfort and no ac. Lived here for about two years and put up with a lot. Especially trying to get a leaky faucet fixed that they couldn't. Speaking with dj(dgay, the slumlord) was always terrible he tried to take shortcuts on everything or unable to get a hold of and rude and attitude if you did talk to her/him. 06/25/13 by anonymous: So.. I recently moved to Denver, and nabbed one of the first apartments I saw that seemed like a decent price for the location. Upon moving in, I was warned that it was an old building and that i needed to be patient with them and the utilities, and that street parking was the only thing available. The first weekend of living there, my shower exploded and i had ZERO water pressure more
