This place is expensive, has no neighborhood, and is nothing special for the price you pay. The biggest problem is their 60-day move-out notice. This got me and a co-worker who lived next door, too. Even though I gave my 30-day notice at the end of my lease, I was forced into paying an extra month along with a $150 month-to-month premium because I didn?t give 60-days notice. They were totally inflexible in working with me and were out to screw me out of that extra month! It was unbelievable! This place is out to get you- avoid it and avoid the mistake I made.
They make many empty promises and brag about all these great things they have like a hot tub, 6 beaches, 2 paddleboats, and canoe. The hot tub is either too dirty to enter, or contains so many chemicals that your skin burns when you get in. The ?beaches? are more like sandboxes that the geese love to use for a litter box. When I asked the first time to use the paddleboats, one had disappeared and the other was broke. The second time I asked to use them, they had put them in storage for the winter- in the middle of fall. The canoe simply never existed.
Other problems: I was told my apartment would overlook the lake- instead it overlooked the parking lot- great. You can hear the freeway, not quite as loud as a freight train, but its ALWAYS busy. The mailbox was a country mile away. The ?business center? had only one computer with a slow dial-up that was almost never available. The second computer was useless to most without a internet connection. Finally, you are living way out, practically in the middle of Nowhere, which can be a pain, but sometimes is nice.
This place is out to get you- avoid it and avoid the mistake I made.
