These people do not know how to run a business. I moved in and the washing machine was broken. It took them 6 months to replace. My roof leaks and I'm sure there is mold in the wall. I have paid my rent on time every month for two years and this month it will be a few days late, but they start eviction process as soon as you are over 4 days late. They don't take care of any of their amenities. The pool is filthy, and many of the machines in the exercise facility don't work. They don't work with their tenants at all. I would not recommend this complex to anyone.

First, a court almost NEVER allows for an Unlawful Detainer to go through in a residential action. Second, read your lease, if it says that they can, and will serve a three (3) day notice to pay rent or quit, then don't be shocked if they do. This is always done (I owned and managed over one billion dollars of commercial and residential real estate in Los Angeles County). The Three Day Notice is documentation that they have notified you that you have failed to pay rent and keep the landlord from being liable in the event that three (3) months from now, you still have not paid rent. Residential eviction is a LONG and EXPENSIVE process that no landlord wants to actually go through. If you are upset that they are charging you fees (as listed in your lease I am sure) for being late, and for having to file a three day notice, then this is ALL on you and anyone reading your review should take into consideration that t you are simply a delinquent deadbeat that is upset that the landlord is actually enforcing the lease terms and conditions.

Wow! I am very glad that you posted this review. It is totally obvious that an employee of the property replied to your review. Never in a million years would I want to live in a place that treats their residents like that. The funny thing is I have called there several times now and they always seem extremely frustrated that I called and don't care to give me any information. I'm lucky if they even answer the phone. Seeing as I can't get any information from their employees I decided to ask around about Gateway. People have told me that there is a huge mold problem on the property that no one seems to be taking care of. I have also been told that it is impossible to speak with a manager over there, if you have any serious problems or issues good luck. The only response you get is from the rude and disprespectful staff in the front office. It is just not worth it. Don't waste your time on this place. There are plenty of other apartment complexes in Denver that want your business and don't treat you as if they have something better to do.

In response to the first "user response" the person who wrote this original review whom i know very well and no is not me is far from a deadbeat, he is a Sgt. in the USAF and as he stated paid rent on time for almost 3 years and when he needed to be a few days late 1 time because of an unushual situation, he called before the rent was due and asked if it would be okay if he paid rent 7days late and that he understood there would be a late fee and would be more than happy to pay that as well at the same time as the rent and was told no, that 4days after it was due they would start the eviction process and would no longer accept the rent after that point, so he paid the rent on the fourth day and a late fee to avoid this situation even tho that meant the unushual family situation that put him in that spot to begin with was unable to be taken care of, now you seem to know your leases and laws and can come back with some legal jargan about how they can't do that and it's a lie and whatever else you have to say and im sure you would be right, in that what they said did not seem legal to me however most of the average tenents of any complex have no experience in these situations and know nothing about the law and simply do what they are told and get taken advantage of even if they are relitivly smart people and all i know is that i would not want to live in a place where the office staff talked to and treated me like that, let alone lie to me and threaten me with legal things i do not understand and even if it werent for that i still would not want to live there they dont empty the trash in a timely manner the pool is disgusting and they dont maintain the apartments, the washer and dryer leave rust stains on your cloths the ceiling leaks there is mold everywhere theres never anywhere to park and the lake OMG is the grossest thing i have ever seen there is a bright neon green thick film all over the top of it, its smells like a sewer its covered in trash and in the summer there are hundreds of dead fish just floating in it and they have nerve to call it a luxury complex and while some a the tenents moved from far away and were basicly duped into living there and are now stuck with this lease, most of the people there are very trashy and no one seems to keep an eye on there kids of all ages just running around all over the place including after dark and there is also crime many people have had their cars broken into, tho i must say that this was not always true when "AMLI" owned gateway park before they were taken over by the new management, most of these this were not a problem they had their issues but not like it is now. and yes i have lived there oh and its also about two blocks from one of the worst crime ridden parts of town which if your not familiar with the area wouldnt know til it was too late.
