I just renewed my lease for another year...

I don't think that this place is bad (it's DEFINITELY changed since I moved in last year, for the best!!!)...

Here's the negative side:

The a/c unit in the wall sucks, plain and simple...

but I have an extra fan in the living room and bedroom (no a/c in bedroom) and it seems to do the trick...

and it's only hot a couple of months a year! It's sometimes noisy, but it doesn't last forever and it's workable...

I'm in grad school and I seem to handle it.

The elevator doesn't always work...

but they do try to fix it promptly.

The water changes from cold to hot all the time when you're in the shower...

if it goes cold, DON'T adjust it or you'll be scalded!!

The positive:

I've never had any problems with any of the appliances (the track lighting is crappy and all 4 lights are out and you can't replace them or they just burn out again, it's pointless)...but, I love the stainless steel in the kitchen, and although the w/d are small, they are a stackable and so that's expected...

I live in the Blade and love the large bedroom and walk-in closet! Everyone I've worked with in the front office has been especially nice and courteous, and the maintenance crew is great - very friendly and I can tell they are working really hard to keep it looking nice around here! My neighbors have been friendly and quiet and so I've been very lucky...
