I would have voted Aero Flats a YES if it wasn't for the pricing of the units.

There are good and bad things about Aero Flats. I am currently enjoying my stay, but at times I have hated living here. In order to have a good experience I think you have to get an apt in a good location within Aero Flats. The A/C units are only in the living room so make sure that you stay away from the upper floor units. You also should look at where and when the sun comes in to a unit. If you get a 4th floor unit w/ no natural breeze coming in there is a 99.8% chance that you'll hate AF.

Security can be an issue at AF too. I suggest that u get a unit where u can view your car from the balcony. On a side note, do not play your car stereo loud if u do move in because if a guy is "bumping" on Tuesday there is a good chance his car will be broken in to by Friday.

Noise is a problem. The apt doors that open to the hallways are thin so you hear everything. If you live near the elevator, trash dumpster or main entrances you will have noise. Barking dogs can be an issue too, but its not that common.

Basically, I recommend looking at the units, sitting in them for a bit and even asking neighbors prior to signing anything. Keep in mind though that a lot of the move-in specials are only for units in crappy locations.

PS: Watch out for the towing that goes on. If people come to visit you and dont park on the street or near the clubhouse they will be towed. I have been at AF for almost 2 years and the only time that I have ever seen security is when they are assisting a tow truck driver.

I am sure msinger the local pro-aeroflats activist has something to say about how this is all your fault as the tenant. I think that the staff should stop posting their "opinions" and let people who have actually lived there use this web sight for what it was meant for.
