My Friend and I moved to Aero Flats a year ago and our lease is up in Mar 2009. The place looked great on the internet, but it's far from it when you arrive. The apartments are WAY over priced with tiny little ovens that take an hour and thirty minutes to cook a pizza. The gas bill is crazy expensive because all the gas is split up between the apartments and half of the units are empty, so that just makes it more expensive. Every weekend there is a u-haul truck here moving someone out. The units also have these tiny little window unit air conditioners that suck so you always leave your windows open. Well, that usually works, but the gate to get in and out are so loud that you can't sleep at night when they open every five minutes and half the time they don't work. The parking arrangement is the most ridiculous thing ever conceived. The management team are a bunch of idiots that probably barely made it out of high school and are not helpful at all. They lost our 60 day notice to move out and charged us a full months rent because they were incompetent. I have lived in many places from dorm rooms to apartments to condos to houses and Aero Flats was by far the worst place ever. You can live a lot closer to downtown for less money so do yourself a favor and do not sign their lease, trust me! Also, the hot water is a boiler so it's shared with the entire complex so if you get up at 7:30 in the morning for work, don't expect a warm shower. The dishwasher is so loud you can't even hear yourself think and the garbage disposal might as well not even be there. The building materials are cheap and break easily and if you think the gym is an incentive to move in...think again, it's ridiculous. You need two use your key fob to get in the gate and then to also get in the elevators which are usually broke so you have to walk all the way around the complex to get in and the door to the stairs is always locked, so that doesn't work. So, all in all, the only good thing about living here (aka..Fort Knox) is the satisfaction of moving out.
