I moved in last weekend. No move-in/move-out procedures in place & the office could care less. We had to fend for ourselves. It cost twice as much as it would have because the move took sooo long. The elevator is so small and not one of the staff even apologized for the lack of common courtesy to explain how this is done. They closed their sale and that was that. I was in a lot of pain afterwards from all the stress. There is no security in this building. The carpets were filthy when I moved in. The gate is open most of the time so so much for a "gated community". The kitchen floor had not been washed for some time. It was a shade lighter when I finished cleaning it. One of the cabinets was disconnected from the ceiling in the kitchen and leaning. One of the baseboard header vents was in dire need of repair. There was no hot water in the washing machine unit. One of the bathroom drawers was stuck. They were epoxing the bathtub the day of move in and I had a headache for three days from the smell of this. One of the bathroom drawers constantly was stuck.

I've rented from Carmel Properties at different sites for two years and this is their worst one. Seven Oaks and The Covington were good. When I contacted the apt. mgr. at Aeroflats in writing, I was given a very cut-and-dry email about what they would do and what they wouldn't do. The customer service was the worst I have ever encountered in the Denver apt. community. I am a 55-year old professional who works nearby, by the way, not 28 like most of the tenants here. I had given Carmel Partners $18K in rent for two years and this is how I was treated. It prompted me to write Carmel Corp. and copy The Colorado Attorney General's Office and The Better Business Bureau and to write as many of these online (including my social media sites) as I possibly can.
